Multiple Imagery Sources Tutorial

Learn how to switch between different satellite imagery sources to find the best view for your property measurements.

Not all satellite images are created equal! Launchpad lets you pick the best one for your task. Depending on where you are, different sources may have clearer, more current, or higher-res images.

Imagery Sources

Nearmap (HD - High-Res): Usually the sharpest view; best for detailed measuring. Mapbox Satellite: Sometimes sharper than Google or more up-to-date in rural areas. Google Maps: Classic satellite imagery; familiar and easy to use.

Switch between these sources as you work. Sometimes Google's got the latest layout changes, other times Nearmap is crystal clear. Having options makes your measurements more reliable.
