Learn how to configure your Launchpad account settings and measure preferences for optimal workflow.

Before you get into all the measuring and mapping fun, take a few minutes to set your account up right. This helps you avoid headaches later and gets everyone on your team working with the same settings and standards.

To set up your account:

Access your account settings: Look for your user icon or profile at the top of the page and select it. Go to "Measure Preferences": Here, you tweak which layers you want to appear by default whenever you start mapping new properties. Add custom layers: If your business uses special categories (think "drainage channel," "pet area," or "mulch zone"), just hit the add button. You can create new area types, linear features (like fences or pipes), or point objects (like trees, benches, or irrigation heads).
